Default 1863/4 engine spacers.

Can anybody give me the height of the engine spacers for a 1863/4 cub? In the middle of my swap and realised I don't have these

Swap from what to what?

The 1863/4 used the same spacers as all the old KT's and Mag's did.

I was not aware of that. It's the ch18 going into my 782. Used a 1863 plate but don't have the spacers with it. They had different part numbers on parts tree so I figured they were different. And I'm not paying 37 bucks for them from there.

If you don't have them, I can go out and measure a set real quick. I think I have some easy to get to. But it's cold out there...... I hate winter.

I hear that! I won't be home till about midnight. Just couldn't tell from parts tree what the measurements were. It appears that they are just under a half inch think. But not sure. I will let you know thanks

Somewhere I posted the sizes on this forum but it has been a few years.
They are easily made.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
