So, How many of you are from the Constitution state? I live in East Haddam which is in Middlesex county, sorta in the middle of the state.

I used to live in Waterrtown. Got out because the cost of living was just out of control, the roads suck (I also ride MC's) and I got tired of the winters.

Sam, Yes the cost of living is nuts! But, I do love the NE and I plan on sticking around a while longer.

R Bedell, Holy cow that's a lot. But I wonder how many are actually active. I went through the member list yesterday and like 5700 out of the 6200 don't even have 1 post on the forums.

Ah, Well that makes sense! I've owned these masterpieces for nearly 10 years now, and finally decided to join a online community. No one else understands my enthusiasm for these machines in my everyday life, other than my dad. So I figured I'd find a group that did!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
