I plan on going either Friday evening or Saturday morning. Many vendors start pulling out around noon on Saturday.

I lived in Portland till I moved last Sept. This will be the first year in quite a few that I don't make it to the swap meet. Just working too much at the moment.
Will be taking a couple days off work for the Aug. show and swap meet then.

I didn't find anything that I was looking for....not a single WF 3 point, no 782 stuff whatsoever and the vendors were spread so far apart that the search mission took twice as long and the sun burn was a memory of the murder---killed a nice day. I got an original headlight and part of another one, a tiller lift bar, fuel filter, two battery cables, and a new set of ags. The ags made it worth it I suppose....just not what i expected.

Thanks Doug. That price is out of reason for one. I met a guy who had one at home and was willing to ship it off of his 169 for a whole lot less than that. Some of the parts are out of reason-IMOA.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
