Rebuilt Kohler engines
Just wondering if anyone has ever purchased a Kohler rebuilt engine from Kustom Lawn and Garden/Clark Racing out of Ohio? Are the motors any good? Customer service?

I have never purchased an engine from them. However, I have had a K321 from a 1450 bored, crankshaft journal turned and other parts remachined. I have yet to finish assembling the engine. Their work seems ok and prices fair. The machining process didn't take forever. They specialize in the old school K series engines.

Thanks. I’m weighing my options as my local machine shop says they rarely do the old Kohler engines because for about the same money people would rather buy a new engine. I’m not going to butcher my 1450 to make a motor fit!!
