Transmission application
Can someone tell me if the complete transmission is the same and will interchange into my 108. Found a new complete transmission purchased for a 124 Cub. I did a part search and looks like a lot of the parts are the same. Question is will it bolt in and replace my 108 unit?

Looks like the 108 has external brakes and the 124 has internal brakes looking at the Cub parts site,

Can I just change the shifter over? Is changing that brake rod any big deal? Finding a rod might be the hard part being that I think the 108’s all had external brakes.
