Default Rebuilt 3185, 46" berco blower

Machine was completely tore down, repainted, new seat skin, new hyd lever bushings, also painted Quick attachment, 46" blade and rebuilt the blower, also have 50"and 60" decks for it, it has the original 18hp briggs in it, but have a 22hp kohler if i ever need

think it looks okay

i hear the pto runs at 2000rpm, blower works fine but may need to speed up with sprocket change, we'll see

not sure why pics are rotated, tried 4 times to correct ????

hey how did you do that with the pics ???
also had to fab new adapter for the quick change for the blower and fab new pto shaft

have a question, seems to jerk a little when lifting blower or blade, oil level is okay, not sure what is causing that ???
Another question, What hydro oil do i use, read on here somewhere to use Rotella 15w40 true or not ????
also is it true PTO runs at 2000 rpm ????

i work and rebuild a lot of different mowers, the deck you see on the lift is off a mod# 2016 ingersoll, also in the process of rebiuilding a 970 Husqvarna articulated, just sold a Duetz allis 1618 with blower, mower and blade, but this cadet is my favorite with the pedal shift, works good

Curtm, nice snow removal unit you have there.

The jerking lift could be the wrong oil, sticking spool valve, or the cylinder.

The correct oil to run is Cub's "Drive System Plus". It's kinda pricey but it's correct and is synthetic.

I use a contact tachometer on my machines and when the engine is at 3600 RPM the PTO should be spinning at 2000 RPM.

Here are some free manuals if you don't have one yet.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
