Default Ready for the snow storm they are predicting

If the weather man is to be believed we are supposed to get up to six inches of snow tonight and tomorrow so I thought I should get the 1872 snow killer ready. I have only had to use it once this season so I started it up and backed it into the shop. I usually get a huge drift in front of my shop door so I am ready, but I hope they are wrong. The 1872 has a 23 hp Command swapped into it and the blower is a 451 so it just plays with the drifts.. Since I have the project 1872 I have been working in this will now be a dedicated snow blower machine. I figure a Cub Cadet for each attachment is the way to go.

I believe the same! No time to loose swaping implements, if money or space is not a problem, better have dedicated machine for each task!

One for mowing, one for plowing, one for blowing, one for digging , one for tilling and .....one to stare at!

Joke aside, we supposed to get 12" in my "Cana istan republic" neck of the wood, It's fun time for the Jeep!

Well we lucked out and only got about 2 inches max so I put the snowblower tractor back in the shed.

Right now I have one to mow, one to blow, one to sickle bar mow, one to run the tiller and also mounted sprayer, one with a front blade and one with a bagger attachment to pick up leaves that serves as a back up mower. Hope to soon have one with a loader. Also have my eye on another one. If I get it I will have to find an attachment for it. Glad my wife supports my addiction. Later,
Tom

My brother just got back home to Albany NY from visiting me in FL. Said he's got 20" and still coming down. Old ariens blower has chain that keeps coming off and he's got 3 rental properties plus his house on the same street to do. I should have sent him one of mine as I have 3 with blades but no throwers. Thinking via fastenal I can get him one up there for around $150. Too late now though. Be safe up there everyone

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
