Hey is a 782D a IH or a CCC. I thought the were a CCC.

Just show him the CCC serial number list and his serial number will match the list.

He's kinda correct. It was the only diesel built bt CCC and badged for IH. It should have the IH emblem on the grille. Do any of you 782D owners know if it should have the logo on the steering wheel center? Mine doesn't.
