What does a 195-364-100 snow blower fit?
I just bought a CC snow blower, model number 195-364-100. Yes, that is a 195 and not a 190. What does it fit and will it work with my 1782? I don't have the hitch part for the front or rear brackets yet (he had forgot about them and has to find them). The previous owner said it was on about a 20 HP Cub Cadet, but couldn't remember the model. I can't seem to find a manual for it or even a parts diagram on the CC parts lookup.
Thanks, Geoffrey

Post a pic of that plate. Something isn't right. There is a 190-365-100, and a 195-350-100. Snow blowers that are listed to fit the 1782 are: 451, and the 551.

Thanks guys,
I have found and saved the 190-364 manual and it says that it will the Quietline models, 82 series (including 982), 984, 986 1912 and 1914. The 421 hanger extension is required for the supers. What has me baffled is the 195 part instead of the normal 190. Maybe I'll find out more when I get the front hitch and driveshaft.

I think they are the same thing I think 195 is number that mtd you after they but out cub and is the IH atleast that what I was told buy a guy that works at my local dealer. do you have pic of yours so we can see what you have? and if you have a 3pt you may have part of the rear hanger brackets you need and the other part is just a 2" angle peace that you can make.

I hope the picture works and isn't too big. I just have a rear shot for now. As I said, I don't have the hitch that goes on the front of the tractor yet and no 3-point yet. The previous owner is looking for the front hitch/drive pieces and I plan on adding a 3-point to the 1782.
If the 190 and 195-364 are the same thing, I'm hoping based on the fact that the manual says the 190-364 will work with 82 series supers it will mount on the 1782 with no trouble. Then I would just have to address the speed issue caused by the larger pulley on the 1782. I promise, no original parts will be harmed in the process. I'm a machinist and have my own shop, so I would just make new replacements rather than modify existing parts. Sound like something that should work?????

I think the bigger pulley on the tractor is not a big deal it big due to the lower rpm of a diesel. you just have to figure out the length of the belt

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
