Default 782D no movement or lift of deck

So parked the tractor last weekend with no issues, went to use it today to move a and it will not move nor will the deck lift. I have seen the posts stated to check fluid and relief valves.. but have seen that the fix was a spiral pin. So with my total lack of knowledge, but does anyone have a picture of where this is located? I have been thru the service manual and could not find it.

Sorry if this seems a stupid question, just new

Pull the tunnel cover off and you will see them on the drive shaft.
Sometimes not obvious if they are broke.
Search on here cause this is a much covered topic.

Yes sir, it is on the input shaft of the transmission. Here it is with the coupler removed.

So got around to pulling the tunnel cover off, I started the tractor and I can see the drive shaft spinning and looking at the yoke where the pin is and that is not turning when trying to lift the deck, or forward and reverse. Fluid is full. I guess the next step is to clean everything off and start really troubleshooting, the guy I purchased from seemed to take care of this machine so it seems odd. Maybe I can start pulling it apart this weekend.

Well, if the shaft isn't turning, then you have a broken spirol pin. Not sure what you plan to tear apart or what you think you need to "troubleshoot". Just drive out what's left of the broken one and install a new one. Make sure to get a spirol pin either from Cub Cadet or a supplier of your choice. DO NOT use a spring pin or a bolt. At least not for any length of time.... Yes, it's that easy. Lets not make this hard.

Again sorry for being stupid....

should I be able to grab behind the fan and hand turn everything but the long shaft that is connected to the engine side? I can grab the flexible disc, and turn the hydro drive shaft. So never working on this before, when I start the tractor the drive shaft and the fan all the way back should be spinning correct. Sorry for the baby steps here just have never worked on one of these before

You should not be able to turn any of it by hand.... or at least not without turning the engine also. It would seem that the pin that is broken is on the driveshaft not the hydro. No matter, it's the same pin, just different location. Same fix, same part. Just so you know, there are 3 in that shaft total.

Pic does not show the pin location, but this may help:

Most of us order them from CCC or McMaster Carr.

Here is the dealer/ online store I use:
http://www.cubcadetpartsnmore.com/

Just plug in the part number.

Or McMaster Carr. Click on the ones labeled coiled spring pins.
https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-spring-pins/=15638bz

You can also Google the part number. You may even have luck at a local hardware store, Fastenall...... etc.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
