Default Lawn roller
With spring on its way. Guess its time to get back on the lawn roller project. Its been over a year since I last work on it. I will be happy to get it out of my garage when I get it done. The drum is a old air tank from a EMD CF7 loco. It should do a get job when its done.

Dang!now that's a lawn roller! I'd say it should get the job done! Good job! What are you going to fill it with? Water ?

Water, I think if I would fill it all the up with water. My 1712 might not be able to handle it. Thetank it self is heavy. Its made out of 1/4 inch metal.

WOW!! Be careful, and don't let that thing get away from Ya once it's in service! Sure wouldn't want to park it on a HILL!! That's a roller and a half for sure!!

Gives us all something to do between mowing and plowing snow LOL!!!

Most of what I read from the true green thumber's of the world say that rolling a lawn is more harmful to the grass cause of the compaction that it does to the soil underneath.
