Default Brought my new 124 home today!!

She needs alot of tlc but hopefully get it running in the next week. Then tear it down for a restore. I have a creeper to install on it when I put it back together:biggrin2.gif: It's been sitting for the last 15 years, sunken into the ground about 5 inches!!

I was wondering if anyone would notice, lol. The left rear tire didn't want to hold any air so I stole one of my wheels off an Original to get it home

Thanks guys. Looking forward to bringing her back to life!

I see wheel weights,I like wheel weights,
Looks like you need a new dash,
Otherwise a good solid 124.

Ya, will have 5 sets of IH wheel weights soon:biggrin2.gif:. The dash is broken off on the left side, but Matt G. has one for me and will need an original seat eventually too. She is solid and very straight, no dents anywhere that I can see

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
