Electric PTO problem on new SLTX1054
Just got a new , paint not even scratched (yet) SLTX 1054 yesterday with about .9 hours on it. The dealer is closed today (Saturday) and tomorrow.
Started it up yesterday but when I went to engage the blades through the electric PTO , the tractor shook violently about 3 or 4 times then everything went smoothly. Tried engaging at low engine speed and high engine speed.Same results. Was advised that since the tractor had been sitting around for I don't know how long (and stored outdoors) that some rust might have formed in the PTO (clutch flanges??) and it was suggested that I engage/disengage the PTO a few times to see if the problem resolves itself. After all , the dealer did release the machine to me to use and it's still under full warranty. Wondering if this would be a good idea or is there some lubricant I could use/spray somewhere. Txs

I dead read on a few sites about "burnish" the PTO clutch , though non were specific to my model.
Wondering if this is the problem.
