Well, we enjoyed our time at the show. Didn't really take any pics. Our seats at the pull weren't the best for taking pics. As far as the show, it was cool to see some of the new stuff that's out there. I was pretty disappointed in that this was the first show that I have been to where Cub Cadet didn't have a booth. Not sure why. All the other "main" brands did. JD, Grasshopper, Skag, Toro, Peco, and several others. There are some older, and some new companies out there that make attachments that would look and work well behind our Cubs and I picked up a lot of info on all that. I will take some time and go through that stuff and maybe post pics of the info.
Coolest part I would have to say, is that MWSC had a booth and I got to meet Julian Stahl! No big deal maybe if you've been in the pulling circuit a long time, but pretty big deal to me! |

Sounds like it was a good time! A friend of mine was there he posted some pics of the tractor pull on Facebook. Yeah that's very disappointing that cub cadet didn't have a booth. I know their not built like they used to be , but if you wanna sell, you gotta show up! You can't compete if your not getting out there! I'm mean heck it's the Louisville farm show, why wouldn't they be there? It'd be interesting to see the attachments they had. I've been to the farm show at the American royal in Kansas City several years ago.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
