Question Just a thought - planetaries ?

any one ever wonder about having rear planetaries drives on these cub cadets? i understand the loss of speed. like i said just a thought. believe me, even these stock cub cadets are monsters. i dont mean to insult the tractor.

My .$02 is:

I'm thinking a planetary setup will drop the speed Approx 30% ( depending what you choose to use) ---
with the creeper gears available for the manual shift and the others having a hydro, I just don't see the point.

One of the Cub Cadet Pulling Vendors at one time was making planetary kits that bolted to the cub rear housing. I think it was Amstutz, but I'm not sure.

Hotya is correct kinda.. They are made by Andy Korpral who is friends with Amstutz so you can get them through amstutzpullingparts.com but extremely speendy for just the thought of it...

The pullers remove the reduction housing and drive to the top shaft of the trans and then put the planetaries on the axle end. takes a lot of stress off the trans and differential. The one's I always thought would be nice to use were out of an Allison AT545. Depending on what style you use, there's some decent ratios to work with.

I saw some that were built from automatic transmission parts, cant remember who built them.
