New Cub in the Barn
I bought the 1872 I was looking at. It came with a 60" deck that is in great shape for $500 . The rear end is shattered due to loose bolts but I was going to put a cast in it anyway. And before you say anything I forgot to get pics before I took it all a part sorry. I am going to rebuild and repaint it to make new tractor for under my loader. The 582 just isn't a big enough horse for that big loader. It's a little tipsy on 582. I all ready got set of Tru-powers and set of V61 ordered for it. They be here next week. Now to get a rear-end for it and get it painted. I'll get pics of it in pieces and the progress ones as I go.

You could try the sponsors or porch electric. Porch Electric has more available than whats on their website. Just call them. If they don't make them for the 82 series supers, as long as you don't have rear pto, just tell them you want one for an 1811 and lengthening the wiring going to the rear.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
