Talking Cub Cadet ZTR50/RZT50 Hydros

Do I need any info to identify the hydros?
I have the owners manual but it says nothing about the hydros???
Any downloadable info on them?

It's my neighbors but I fix his equipment when it brakes.
He's complaining the left hydro goes "soft" after 15min.(any ideas)
I'll post more after I start it and warm it up.

Thanks

That's not the info I was looking for.

Here is a link for the left pump / motor on that machine.

This is a link from a Google search for the complete pump / motor combo.

This is a link to Cub Cadet so that you can contact them for a service manual.

Feisty aren't you.....

Here' a link to enroll in a technical coarse so you can learn about hydraulics and how to fix them.

http://www.trade-schools.net/univers...cal-institute/

If you don't know anything about a hydrostat you don't need to be in one. Besides, it's a hydrogear. About the cheapest hydro there is. They don't last long, because they are made cheap. Can you fix it? Maybe.... but I doubt it. I've had a lot of hydro's apart. If one of those dies, I'd just replace the hydro.

Sounds like your neighbor needs to find a real mechanic.

And yes a bit feisty when someone tries to feed me BS.

And I am a mechanic I just don't usually work on lawnmowers.

And that's why I thought I'd ask the experts.
Why waste my time on Google when there are forums for the repairs.

A machine is a machine and with research and education anything can be fixed.
I thought I was coming to a site that I'd get that info.
One guy decides to give me info then at the end he insults me and he's a mod too.
I guess some just throw parts and hope something stick???

I guess I picked the wrong site.

CRI can be a painful thing I hope you get better.

Check with Surplus Center, I see a couple ZTR trans axles listed in the latest catalog.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
