Default IH 1450 Cub Cadet with front end loader

I inherited my father’s tractor. It runs well and would be great for moving dirt, snow, mulch etc. I am looking to sell it. Does anyone have an idea of what it may be worth?? Loader works well. I believe Johnson brand. Thanks !
Mitch

Tractor: $400-500
Loader: $1200-1500.

You would do good to get $2000 out of them both together. Expect to get $1500-1800 for the pair.

Lots of guys on here that have loaders paid less.

If it belonged to your loving father, it is priceless.
Keep it and dad would be proud.
Years from now, it will be your son/daughters.
If you sell it, in no time the $$ will be gone.

Thanks all for responding! I apologize for my choice of words. I meant “inherited “ figuratively rather than literally. I feel blessed that my father is still alive and 80 years old and going strong. He recently downsized from his home to a condo and he “passed down” all of his stuff from his out building. I fortunately have many of his possessions to remember him by especially some of things he “Jerry rigged“. Unfortunately no room for the cub cadet so it has to go. It is a really nice tractor and the bucket is very useful but I have a larger John Deere with a loader so the cub would just sit idle. I want it to go to a good home. Thanks again!

Well, glad to know that your dad is still with you!

If you decide to sell it, (sounds like you have) we do have a "For Sale" section on the forum. Feel free to list it here. Just make sure to follow the rules of the For Sale section.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
