364 Blower Homemade brackets
A few years back, my cousin ‘gifted’ me a 364 blower, as his wife had blown up his 1811 M18 motor and he just bought a ZTR. Like all 364 blowers, the rear brackets went with the donor tractor, so that left me to source or make my own, and the PTO was all kludged up. 60 days with my machinist buddy, and he hooked me up with a better than new repaired 419 PTO.
Before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSj9JqNAveA After: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cXd23B-q9w This was my first attempt at home built hanger brackets, and they worked pretty good, although I had to leave everything loose until it was all pinned, and then bolt it tight. But that spring, I finally pulled the trigger on an Xtreme 3pt, and my old brackets no longer worked. So with a little more planning and care, here are the hanger brackets I made to work with the 3pt. Steel from metals depot dot com Cardboard template Fabricated pieces Ready to weld 1st pass Please paint, hurry up and dry! Installed Side Installed rear That very winter, we received an epic snow we only get about every 5-7 years – 34” worth of the white stuff in about 36 hours or so. She performed beautifully! Super Speed Snow Removal!

I expected to garden with it, so I have a sleeve hitch adapter for a plow and cultivator, but mostly it get's a 4ft back blade in the summer to touch up the gravels in the lane after rainstorms. In the winter, it hauls a concrete bucket weight for more traction weight.

Looks good. Nice work.
That wobbly pulley was supposed to shake the snow off the tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
