GTX2100 / XT3 deck question
I really hate my first post to be a question, but here we are.
I own a GTX 2100 and was looking for a 48” fabricated deck. My model number is 14W-3GE-010. DOM is 01/2012. Looking at the new models the XT3 looks like the same machine except some paint, the big bumper, and the differential lock. I called Cub Cadet and even they could not help me. The part number for the accessory (deck) for my machine is 19A40015100. The current part number is 19B40015100. The only difference is the A and B in the part number. Does anyone know if I can use a new deck on my older machine? Or by chance does anyone have the one that would fit? I am in north central WV. |

The current 48-inch Fabricated deck for the XT3 series should Mount right Up to a GTX2100 The Only real different is the deck shell Part Number Because one is sent in Yellow and the Other is sent out In Black Every other Part is the same Between the decks

I appreciate all the responses so far.
I have been calling a few places around me and striking out so far. Seems my only hope is finding one lying around at a dealer or a used one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jim |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
