Default 1641 Filters, Etc.

The boys need weekend wo...wo....WORK!

Rather than crawl around the 1641 and take a peek-a-boo, what filter substitutes can I use for the hydro and Briggs oil filters?

I think I used Wixx from my local NAPA dealer sometime ago.

Engine spark plugs? I forget. I usually write this info on my owners manual but, I forgot.

The grandsons are ready to mow 'd lawns but, PM first! Did a lot of PM while in motor pool, Camp Lejeune, NC.

I knew Joisey was on the job! I duly added the part numbers to my manuals.
I made a few copies in the event, "Forgot where I put that?"

Memory is chilled lately, need the smell of freshly mowed lawns.

You have a very nice 1641. I'm tempted to get a cyclops one of these days. I was at New River from '93 to '99.

Once a Jarhead, always a Jarhead.

I like the red Cub in your avatar. Red is to show the world we're bold.

The Cyclops I've got, my only Cub, grandsons love the hydro. I only push snow and mow, Cub performs very well. It's difficult for the boys choosin', "which tractor are we goin' to 'drive' today".

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
