Restoration tips
I JUST BOUGHT A 147 AND I WANT TO RESTORE IT.
I CAN'T FIND THE MODEL #. I GOT THE SERIAL # BUT JUST CAN'T SEE THE MOD#. I BOUGHT THE CC YELLOW PAINT AND THE IH WHITE. IS ANYTHING ON THE TRACTOR SUPPOSED TO BE PAINTED ANYTHING ELSE? I SEE PICTURES OF SOME THINGS PAINTED BLACK? IS THERE A RELIABLE PLACE / PERSON TO GO TO FOR USED PARTS? MY VOLTAGE METER SWINGS BACK AND FORTH. DO I NEED A NEW VOLTAGE REGULATOR OF A GENERATOR REBUILD? HOW DO I GET THE STEERING WHEEL OFF? I ALREADY SNAPPED OFF THE NUT. FINALLY, HOW DO I GET TO THE NUT THAT HOLDS THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH IN? IS THERE A SPECIAL TOOL?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
