Very very nice work. I would like to do the same thing on my 149, only a dual brake. You have given me a nice guide to start with.

Well, I got it back together and running yesterday. The new brake pedal works great. I still need to figure out a parking brake for it. While I had it apart I spray bombed a few things like the wheels and the grill mesh since they were covered in surface rust. I also painted the gas tank and made a new set of stainless straps. The old straps are too long since the tank on it is obviously for a 70 and the straps were for the bigger 100 tank. I'm now working on making a mounted salt spreader out of a tow behind broadcast fertilizer spreader.

Well, it only took me 4 years to get this project done. Today, I finally made a parking brake latch. I built it similar to the old Farmall setup with a ratchet plate and a catch on the pedal. The Farmalls had the notches on the pedal and a spring loaded catch hooked to a handle to set the brake. Stomp on the pedal and the catch releases. Now I no longer have to shut off the tractor in gear to keep it from rolling downhill.

Where did the offset pedal go. I don't see the lift handle ether.


I do see that you have a different lifting attachment. So does the lift rod for the front attachments run on the outside of the brake pedal now?
