Question 1650s what is it worth?

Hi, while searching clist I found two 1650s. One runs, but smokes, has wheel weights, chains, snow plow, headlights, and is a Dual Stick. 50 in deck included also. The other is a parts with the engine apart, headlights, no ds. Both are decent shape.

Guy wants 700 bucks, is that over, ok, or steal? what is it realy worth?

If you have a use for it I think thats a pretty decent deal. I wont say what i gave for my 1450 dual stick. But it was more than 700.00 15 years ago...

I checked the Iowa CL for the Cubs you are describing. I love QuietLine Cubs....bonkers about them, however those are really beat. I would wait until something better comes along.

The post was $1000, guess possibly wait till the guy chooses to lower the price again.

I possibly may be taking a small engines class next school year, that may be a cool one to do if the seller lowers the price.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
