im a newby...safety switches
Im a newbie here...I have a 3235 and was very annoyed by not being able to mow in reverse without all the hoopla of re-engaging my switch after the reverse safety cut off. Also, being a light-weight, when I would go down a hill the seat switch would loose contact and the engine would start to loose connection, backfire, etc. I have been looking into all the info here provided by you guys, very much valuable information and I have learned alot, but, is it against the forum rules to post a hack for the seat switch and reverse switch? I have one where you can enable or disable both. Is that against the rules to post?

Yes, we can't tell you how to bypass safety switches. Just watch your local news and see how many scumbag attorneys want to sue anybody for anything. It is so bad here in GA that everybody's car insurance is going way up because of them.
Best thing you can do is get a wiring diagram and test those switches to make sure they are working properly.

A switch has a contact that is either open or closed
Generally, they are designed to fail in a safe manner, for example, if your foot needs to be on the clutch when you start the engine, if that switch fails, it will fail in a manner that behaves like your foot is not on the clutch Once you figure that out, it is easy to test.
