Default Star Tron -- fuel treatment

My thoughts!

After reading about Star Tron last Fall I bought some & started using it. Couldn't really give it a good test since grass cutting was over & my Winter use was very limited. In the limited use the additive seemed to make a-bit of a difference.

Fast forward:

Long over due in grass cutting I cut it Thursday & had to cut it twice. Higher setting waited 3/4 hours & cut it a second time to mulch up all the clumps. So now it's 3 tank-fulls of gas. I took specific mental note on the running of my 12hp. on my # 122.

It seemed HAPPIER? A bit smoother, faster starting.

YOUR PERSONAl THOGHTS if'n you use it?

Nik,

My "boat parts guy" told me about it when it came out. It goes in my gas cans for my Cubs, into every tank of gas in my boat and into the motorcycle every fall.

The motorcycle started right up and ran fine with 5 month old treated gas. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to everyone.

Startron is an amazing product.First I tried it in my truck and didn't notice much of a difference. I have put it in my 125 and it seems like it breathed new life into it. Starts better ,idles better and it feels like more power is available. It appears to me it shows better gains in an air cooled engine. Just my 2cents.

I have been using it for several months and even the gas I bought last fall seems to work just fine. I use it in my cub gas and also use that gas for chainsaws, weed wackers etc. I notice no difference in the gas that is about 4 months old from fresh stuff. I also use Marvels Mystery oil too. I have not taken the heads off any of my engines to look at the build up or lack of but everything seems to like both startron and MMO.

Smile Startron additive

Just an FYI, here in Florida if you have a boat and don't use it, you're waiting for a problem. It has become very popular for ATV users as well.
For me, all the above and all lawn equip. fuel.
Good stuff.

Never tried it but am a big believer in Seafoam. It was like I rebuilt the engine in the TO35 within a day of adding to the tank. Now I add it to the engine oil and the tranny in all the tractors, and the Explorer.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
