Default Original parts

Looking for the value of the following parts for a '61 Original: a complete 3 point hitch with spring assist, a hood that has no dings or scratches or bent corners, and a hood ornament that is literally perfect. Thanks

Did I do or say something against the rules? Or these parts have no value? Very surprised I got no responses.

Nothing against the rules. Just be patient. Someone will chime in.
As a suggestion, pictures do help with coming with prices.

Pictures would help greatly.. would also draw attention to your post. just a suggestion.

I have sold original three points for 150-225 in the past.. complete with all the parts bolts and bushings..

I know the original spring assists can bring a good bit of money... but i've never sold one. or had one to sell.

I'm not sure on the hood and ornament

Good luck

Thanks everyone. I have pictures, but they are too big to meet the upload requirements. That's why I tried to be very descriptive. Thanks.

In many cases, you can reduce the size of the pictures to fit the requirements. If you need guidance, there are members here who can help. We'll need to know what platform you are using to create and post the pictures. In my case, I send the pictures from my smartphone to desktop computer and use the photo editor to reduce the sizes of pictures.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
