Default 147 wire harness, where to buy?

I've got my 147 wiring harness out, and it's a mess of splices. I'm thinking it doesn't pay to try and fix it. I mean it's a mess!
Where do you all get yours from? It would be nice if it were tagged on the top and bottom for ease of installation. Because half of it was just laying unhooked. I thought I saw on here one time a harness that someone purchaced with the tags. Any help would be great. Thanks

Go to eBay and search for your harness there, porch electric is the seller that handles them. I got one from them off eBay for my 149, it looks great. I am just starting to wire it right now, it looks as if everything is in the right place, and the have the correct connectors too boot. I think my costs me $60, it is not exactly like the original, more of an update version of the original harness, the wires are the correct colors as well. Well worth the money as far as I am concerned.

Send a PM to Mlamar he makes them. I got a porch electric off ebay and they are great quality harnesses but their listings can be bare at times. Who ever you order from make sure you get the harness with or without lights depending on your needs.

Look for sugarmakers thread about adding some IH implements in the garden tractor (this) section of the site, I posted links in his thread for eBay listings of 3 versions of the porch electric harness they offer for the 147. If I was at home I would have sent the links here, but I am doing all I can with the iPhone!

I bought one from them for my 149, have yet to install it and try it out, but it sure looks nice and looks to be built well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
