Aluminum Wheels
Does anyone know who made the 2 pc. aluminum wheels? I have 2 sets and was just curious who made them. Both sets are 12" wide, one set 4x8 and the other 6x6. They look the same, but have no markings on them. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Yes they are bolt together. On the 4x8 set I used WD40 and a scotch pad to scuff them so they have a brushed look. You wouldn't happen to know of someone that has an old set of aluminum 8" front rims that might be for sale? Would like to scuff them to match.

8" Fronts
Last I knew Nichols Perfomance in Ohio had some new sets of the Wysong wheels. Might be gone by now not sure. Midwest supercub has Douglas making a set now that look very close the old Wysongs but they use a hub.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
