Default Electrical diagram for an 1872

I put a new front PTO switch in my 1872 and now I have NOTHING. I looked in the owners manual for a wiring diagram but don't find one. Can someone help?

Thanks, but my PTO switch is a 5 spade.

New PTO Switch

For Cub Cadet: 725-0893 / 725-0893P / 925-0893

Made by Indak the OEM supplier.

Yes, 5 spades. 3 plug into one socket and 2 into another socket.

This is the same physically as the switch I removed.

OK....what am I missing...??? I sent you the Wiring Diagram and I assume you checked to see if it wired correctly.

Funny, I assumed the correct diagram would display the pin-out matching the OEM switch and mate to the two female plugs on the 1872.

Yes, lights worked, engine started and ran and pto for deck could be made operational by jumpering the two red leads while not plugged in. This is the way I bought it and I have started it a few times w/o jumper. I do think the female brass spades need to be cleaned for better contact and will work on that.

The two "red" wires have NOTHING to do with the PTO circuit. The red wires are part of the "start" circuit. Normally, the PTO switch has to be in the "off" position, and the brake pedal "Neutral Safety" switch has to be depressed to start the engine. This is clearly indicated in the Wiring Diagram I sent you.
