Hi everyone,

I've just (13/3/2014) become the proud owner of a 1772 in the UK.

It is a true barn find having been imported to the UK in the 90s and has remained unused for more than 10 years. Please see my album for the photos of how I found the Cub

Surprisingly, after I put a new battery on, cleaned the fuel system/added fresh diesel and checked the oil/coolant it started first time! a true testimony to the quality of build.

I plan to complete a full nut and bolt restoration to bring it back to factory release condition, with additional items (rear PTO, 3 point hitch, ROPE) if possible.

Hi Nik,

Hartlepool is on the North East cost of the UK and about 200 miles (4 hours) from where I live in West Midlands so in UK terms a fair distance away.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
