Default 3000 Series Quick Attach Plow on Wide Frame 149

Hi all, I've never posted a question so if this topic has been covered or should be in another area I apologize in advance, but I could not find anything on it while searching.

Long backstory: I have a modified 149 Cub, currently with a custom 54" 4 way plow utilizing the lift bar still for the lift and a hydraulic cylinder for angle. The plow setup works perfect for snow, but when cutting dirt in the summer the lift rod will hold the right side of the plow firm but there is enough play from the right side of the blade to the left that the left will attempt to float up and will not produce a level cut. I do have the bolt in to secure the lift and provide downward force, but it still does not have the down force I want / expect which I assume is due to any slop in the lift rod and the angle the rod applies the force to the blade rather than the hydraulic front mount cylinder which provides close to straight downward force right at the blade. I found a good deal on a 3000 series quick attach 54" blade to use hydraulic lifting / down force rather than the lift rod. I flipped a 317 John Deere and the hydraulic down force closer to the blade seems like a much better design (sorry to mention the JD 😊, I also posted a pic for reference)

So my question is, has anyone here made a custom mounting system to attach the 3000 series quick attach setup to a wide frame Cub? What I currently envision is close to how the Johnny Bucket connects (pic attached), with some modifications obviously. In the picture below with the 3000 setup in front of the 149, id replace the “bumper” portion with the custom bracket, and mount the plow frame from the pivot point forward to that. Open to any opinion / ideas on making this better.

Side note: Why do the wide frame cubs need the support arms trailing back to the frame when John Deere / Cub 3000 blades are able to provide sufficient support only attaching to the frame at the front of the tractor?

Thanks!

Edit: Sorry i can't get the pictures to rotate. They rotate back when i upload.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
