WG600 Dipstick Length?
I remember a discussion a while back about dipstick length on the WG600. Numbers and pictures were shown. I don't remember if it was in the Kubota engine section, in the GT area or general BS. Search has not been kind to me. I just figured out the dipstick stop on my recently acquired 2182 has moved. The dipstick carries part number 15852. I figure I am probably safe by positioning the dipstick by referencing the paint but would like to verify dimensions. Can someone link the dipstick thread? And I thank you in advance.

And, Sam, I thank you. The dipstick subject was embedded pretty deep within that thread but I would have thought my search would have located it. BTW, paint would have been an acceptable reference point. Now I have to figure a way to lock the stop onto the stick. A spot of weld, perhaps.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
