How do you put your Haban deck on?
i found that putting the Haban deck on by driving over it can be a pain. making ramps and hoping the deck doesn't roll away isn't my thing. this is my way of doing it quick and easy. just lift the rear end up position the deck right where it needs to be and lower it down. 5 minute job.

I used to use the loader to install a Haban deck on the 1872, kinda like this!
Sam Mac fixed me up with a newer Super, and the newer Haban has 4 swivel wheels, so the deck will glide in from the side. Concrete is a MUST for installation, or removal. It is nice though. |

I use the Haban easy install tool. Place deck behind tractor. Attach Easy Install tool. Lift tractor. Roll deck under tractor. Lower Tractor. Connect deck and done. Drink a cold one.
To remove deck reverse order.

I use a floorjack under the front, and it slides in from the side on the shop floor, seems to work ok.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
