Default Measurement Need

Those of you that have a wide frame Cub Cadet, I need to know the width of a wide frame, left side end to right side end of the fenders. I know the frames are bigger but does that make the fender measurements wider also? Thanks in advance... Rich

Yes please, the measurement on a 122 is 29 inches. I purchased a cozy cab and tried to put it on today but its 32 inches needed to bolt it on. I believe that this this is for a wide frame.

The fenders on a 122 are different than a wide frame, however the 1x6-1x7 narrow frames have the same fenders as the wide frames,so its possable its still for a narrow frame.

Thats what I figured. This thing is for a wide frame CC then. If I use it I'll have to make some mounting plates and reconfigue the front so the hood clears and that it clears my N F hydrolic pump on the right. Thanks for the help.

Why don't you look for a tractor to fit your cab? Last summer I took a cozy cab off a large frame bolins and adapted it to fit a 149. I had to extend the bottom of the cab 5" down to the fenders to give me enough head room. Needless to say a lot of work but very well worth it. Anything can be made to fit anything. It just would be alot quicker and easier to find the right tractor like a 149 w/hydraulic lift to fit your cab and by the way, whats wrong with having another Cub around?????????

I do have more cubs but all are 122's. I truely like this model of tractor. I really don't have the tools to do the metal work that I need to do. But Sinse I 've been CUBBING I always wanted a cozy cub. Now that I have one I am on the fence about having it. I feeling like I'am in a Sardine can when I was inside. And it's tight getting in and out. I'am A big Guy!
My worry is that if I start cutting and Trimming it to fit. Ill turn it into a pile of junk. I've been looking the 1" square frame over and the way its designed as lone as I don't cut the frame I'll be ok. But I need a welder to redo the body panels.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
