Default MT to PA

Anyone heading between Montana and PA in the next several months? There's a rebuilt Cub Original with attachments at my Grandpa's in Montana buried in his garage that I want to bring back to PA to keep in the family. He's talking about shipping it to me, maybe someone is traveling that way? I might have to plan on a road trip to go get it, it's a 5000 mile round trip for me...

Not planning on heading to PA but if there is something I can do on this
end to make it easier you just have to holler. If you make the trip and your
anywhere near the Bozeman area, ( I am 1 hr from there) I will buy you
a cup or whatever. Never met a fellow Cub Guy before. Good luck.

This one is way up near Kalispell. I realize saying "Montana" is a pretty large generalization.

With that mustache looking like a longhorn, be careful you don't get thrown down, hog tied, branded, inoculated, castrated and dehorned by some well meaning cowboy.

Did you try Fastenal? They have a location there but I'm not sure if your Grandpa or someone else could get it to the store.

I don't know if they are still doing 3rd party logistics with all the Covid crap but maybe give them a call.

Traveling tends to be figured in hours around here and not miles.

Funny how that works, in more open country they say, well it is about an hours drive.
Where sitty congestion/dense population is the norm, it is said, well it is about 70 miles or so.

My daughter is working as a traveling nurse and noted that difference when she was at working S.E. of Columbus, just a few weeks ago, they use time instead of miles.
Down the road a piece, over the krick and down in the holler' by the old fillin' station, just across from Piggy Wiggley's

Well, I have an update to this thread. We made the trip to Montana, and saw a lot of cool stuff along the way. Not only am I bringing back a Cub Cadet original, but also an old Sears and a Jacobsen Chief. I’ll get some pictures once I get them home, but this transportation request is no longer necessary. We are heading into Glacier National Park today, about a 20 mile drive. And heading back home on Friday morning, due home Monday. It’s been an experience for someone who’s never been west of Ohio!

I have heard it said that it is Gods Country. Not really true however.
I believe it is where He vacations. North and East is truly spectacular.
South West is pretty much just loads a people and City, who hasn't seen
enough of that? Glad you got to make the trip. Have a safe trip home.

It is quite nice here. Glacier National Park is pretty amazing. Going to the sun road is not fully open yet but we went up as far as we could this time of year.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
