Howdy y'all!
Found this site looking Cub Cadet upgrade info. I currently own a 1517 with a Kohler CV490 and 42" stamped deck, built in 2002. I bought it off a friend of mine in 2012, it had 140 hours then. Mower has been stored indoors for most of it life. Spent a couple years under a trap when he moved into town. Recently rebuilt the carb and added a electric fuel pump when the mech pump failed, filling the crack case full of gas. Runs better than ever before now. My to do list Upgrade steering components New bearing in spindles and front wheels New bigger seat Add a Oil cooler So it was raining when I took the picture so all my chickens were hanging out under the carport with the mower.
