100 fenders

Hello all

I've been looking for fenders for my 100 for quite some time and can't stomach spending a fortune on original ones someone told me other style fenders will fit could someone point me in the right direction.

I think thats what he's asking.....what other "styles" will fit a 100 if any? Based on what someone "told" him he thinks there are other options...

I dont know what else will fit a 100, but Ive seen some creativity out there.

Hopefuly someone will help..

I have a set of round fenders for sale for a 100 that need a little body work done to them.

I never thought about it before I read this post... I've been sitting here looking at pictures, and I'm thinking if someone wanted fenders badly enough, I would be willing to bet that fenders from the 1X2/3 or 1X4/5 series tractors would fit up and with a little modification bolt on to a 70/100 series tractor.

I think that one of the 70 or 100s that I have over at my Brothers house doesn't have any fenders, if I get a chance I'll go over there and hold a fender from a 1X2/3 or 1X4/5 series type up to a 70 or 100 tractor and see if they look like they could bolt on.

I don't think this is the brainstorm of the century or anything, but they may not look all that bad. And if someone really needed fenders, this could be an inexpensive way out for them.

They will bolt on, they just look extremely stupid IMHO.

Here ia a pic that I found of a 73 that someone added fenders to...might look "stupid" to some, but it could be made to look better in the tunnel area. Not really what I would do, but its not my 100....good luck

fenders from a 70, 71, 72, and 73 will all fit the 100. they are all the same part number, IH-384743-R91. don’t get stuck on "100" fenders. the others will fit and look just like it rolled off the show room floor.
if you are handy in the fabrication department and have access to a press brake, the fenders(just the round fender) from an Original will fit. by the time you fabricate the correct mounting flanges and fender clamps you would be better off purchasing a set of IH-384743-R91 fenders.
i purchased a set of round fenders for my 100 off e-Bay in primo condition w/reflectors for an unheardly(GW speak) low price of $78. shipping unfortunately added on another 50% but i could not have driven there and back for that price.
if you want to add value, style, and OEM originality to you tractor then be patient, watch for a deal, and jump on it. if you don’t care what your tractor looks like then buy a strap on ... i mean something other than OEM.
