Currently restoring a Quietline model 1200. I hope I can reassemble it when I am through. Look forward to picking all your brains for help and ideas. I hope to make a lot of new friends.

Never fear, do it in assemblies, and work forward from the rear end...they go back together surprisingly quickly. Had to change a driveshaft on my 1200 this spring and it sure looked scary with engine, hood and clutch all on the floor. But in the course of an afternoon it was all back together.

Quietlines and narrow frames, mostly projects but I mow with a 1200 and have a 122 set up for pulls. Wandering the country bringing towers to wind farms everywhere, and bringing yellow stuff home to Texas. Also into flatfender jeeps.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
