Default 1450 creeping

I need some ideas from outside the box I guess, because I injured my knee.
My buddy has been kinda restoring my 1450, and because he is very O C D, he has been adjusting the hydro shift linkage exactly by the factory specs. Every single piece of linkage has been inspected and adjusted, lubed, rechecked, and it still creeps. Tapped one way, then the other. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I read on this site a while back how to fix the creep problem, unfortunately I don't remember where. Maybe someone can help you figure out how to access the repair tips.

Look for the arrow on the cam plate and center the pin on the plate assembly there to start with and slowly work your way either direction to find the sweet spot.

New or not loose used ends and snug pivot points are a must have to work your way around wear points in this operation. They all add up and magnify any issues.

Shim what you can, will help a lot right there.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
