Default Hello from northwest IL

Ah there just joined this morning and please be patient with me im not a very tech savvy guy

Anyhoo, I got 4 cubs right now, 2 - 1872 supers one with rear PTO and 3pt, and one without. Both got the 60" Haban deck ! I also have two 1810's, one works great with a few mods ( front cooling fan, grill guard and exhaust stack ). The other runs and works but mainly just spare parts.

The non 3pt super is gonna get a nice restoration soon.
Mainly a re-power 26 hp Kohler Command fuely and some other minor stuff. I'm fixing it up for my father to replace his worn out Craftsman. He mows 5 acres and keeps his yard like a golf course. I suppose I would to if I was retired.

The 3pt super and the other 1810 are my main unites that I mow, remove snow, And split and hall fire wood that heats my house. Planning on keeping all these great tiny little tractors as long as I can and just continuing to improve them along the way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
