Cub cadet hydrostatic 109 with hydralic lift
I have a 1971 hydrostatic 109 with a hydralic lift. Looks like factory made . I thought the 149 was first with hydralic lift

When I clicked on Cub Cadet Parts and Service link in the header above and looked up parts for the 109, I found parts diagram and list for hydraulic lift.

Giddy,
The 149 came from the factory with the hydraulic lift. The 109 and 129 could be optioned with either the electric lift or the hydraulic lift. However, given the tractor is 51 yrs old, someone could have added it at a later date.

Just like I did to my 129 when I had a 1650 that came to me missing too many important things to try and make while again, so I pirated everything I needed from it for the hydro lift and transferred it to the 129.... It's very doable

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
