Kohler command ch16s single ignition
Lt2138 with CH16s engine
I bought the mower from an indivual I found there was no ignition coil and it looks like there had been a dsai or other module on the outside of the shroud, I'm not quite sure I have searched everything I can find on this engine Obviously I want a MDI ignition, but which one When I think I found one on line I notice 2 prongs instead of one, I'm thinking those are for twin Kohlers When I checked youtube, all of the videos were for twin cylinders just like when I google ignition coils I've only found 1 that might make me happy, 25 584 15s. Only one I found with only 1 prong for kill switch but I don't want to spend upwards of $60. then find it doesn't fit ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED |

Taco, click on the "Cub Cadets parts and service" up above and enter your info. It looks like there is a module that goes to your machine but I don't know what all is missing on yours because i don't know what you have.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
