Default K321 Valve Tappets
I've been tearing down a K321 for a rebuilt. I made a mistake today. After finally figuring out how to remove the camshaft, I got a little too eager and pulled the tappets out before marking them "intake" and "exhaust".

The tappets are hopelessly mixed up, now what? I know I have a 50/50 chance of re-installing them correctly, but how critical is it to put them back in their original position?

As far as I know both tappets are identical. They are adjustable so just screw in the adjuster and then back it out until you get the proper clearance.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
