Default Cyclops head light stand off repair ideas??

Has anyone had to repair the above mentioned, how did you do it? Or use an led option that doesn't use these mounts? Update I got it figured out thanks for the input guys.

Here, get some of this stuff
This stuff is awesome!
I used it to repair multiple breaks and cracks on a 2182 a few years back and it works!

I've considered doing that and incorporate spacers if there's not a better option

I repaired mine with Gorilla glue, waste of time and money. If I were to do it again I would use the JB Weld Plastic Epoxy. That stuff works.
But mine are too far gone to repair. My plan B is to find one of those rectangular LED off-road lights fit it to the cowl opening.

Something like this

I mean, if it's a cyclops, it don't need two eyes - right?

I've looked at that option as well in fact there's one sitting in my shopping cart but my wife won't let me out past dark so it hasn't been a priority lol

Here’s what the PO of my 1440 did. IMO, they look better from the front than 1 longer bar would. I would not recommend hacking up a nice grill to do this unless yours is already beyond repair, but they do work and are very bright. As you can see, the whole bottom of my grill is missing.

I recall on one of my old 2182, it just being brittle from age. I found one of the dealers still sells them, maybe messicks, probably a Chinese knockoff but it fit fine and was a bit too shiny but it was easier than battling the cracking. It’s was 150-200 range in price. I think if you are keeping the tractor it’s just going to get worse and better to buy a replacement when you can since cub discontinued them.
I do run LED PAR36 lights to keep the heat down and reduce cracking

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
