Landscape Rake or cultivator
I would like to get an attachment for my 782 to pull deadfall to the burn pile and to turn large piles of compost (grass clippings and leaves). It will not be used a great deal, so I am looking for economy (aren't we all?).
I have been looking at Impact Implements, Agri-Fab, Brinly, and all the negative reviews on these seem to be with the tines breaking. The same manufacturers make cultivators - they have fewer tines, but they seem to be similarly shaped, and (I assume) stronger. Since I am not looking to do finish work, would the cultivator be a better choice? I have zero experience with either a landscape rake or a cultivator, so I would appreciate thoughts from those of you that use these. Thank you.

You want a landscape rake like this. I have the Agri-Fab built Craftsman and it's VERY heavy. Probably as heavy of tines as the CAT 1 3 point King Kutters.

I bought this rake from Impact Implements 3 years ago and have been
pretty happy with it. I don't believe it is as rugged as the one Farmall pictured. I use it for woodpile cleanup, garden waste etc. I don't abuse it but I do still put it to work and it is holding up. Rake 1.jpg rake 2.jpg Ken

I used mine on the gravel drive just to try it out.
My dad has one for his Farmall Cub Lo-Boy he's always used to ray gravel out of the grass in the spring. They also do a good job with the walnuts.

I picked up this used Agri-Fab yesterday for $200. Soon as I finish painting my sleeve hitch and get it hung on she'll get put to the test smoothing out the driveway.
