Roll-up paint booth
I'm building a make-shift paint booth to paint my 100 in to stop from covering everything in my garage with overspray. It's 12'x20'x10' high. I'm using a box fan with a furnace filter for exhaust and 2 filters for inlets. I may add another fan if need be. The sides roll down and the corners will be folded over and held with clothespins. The exhaust end is 2' from the door to allow it to open far enough to exhaust the fan outside. My next project is a rack to hold parts.

Please, Please get yourself a top of the line respirator with filters rated for paint or better yet, a supplied air one, getting it's air from outside the booth.
it's too late when you ruin your lungs with cancer causing VOC's There are painters, and old men, but not old men painters. Not trying to scare you, just make you aware, if not already. In my day they didn't know, or did, but didn't tell us. I've lost a few friends that were painters, from lung cancer. |

That's great Adam! I've done that before, and it will work fine. I didn't make mine as nice..... but it still worked.
You can wet the floor and paint. When the water dries, no paint on the floor too. Just sweep up what's left. |

You should not smell any paint while spraying if it is a proper one |

3m makes the best paint masks, they're a bit pricey but worth it.

It has the charcoal filter cartridges for paint and pesticides. I don't smell any fumes while using it.

Built a rack to hang smaller parts from. It's 9ft long with two cables at 7ft and 5ft. Put casters on it too. Best part is, I built it entirely from materials I had laying around.

Added another exhaust fan. I also added another inlet filter and built a hinged frame around them so that they fold up against the ceiling.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
