Is Miller Tire the best place to get Vredestein V61's?
Just curious, going to order a 2nd set for my 1864 (because I love 'em so much on my 2284 ) and wasn't sure if you could get them cheaper anywhere else. I tried a couple local Tire Dealers and none had even heard of Vredestein nonetheless being able to get them. I suppose at $48 a tire that's not too bad but my shopping list before winter isn't short so every dollar counts

I think Miller is the exclusive North American seller.

I purchase all my farm tires from them, Good ppl as far as i'm concerned.
Called him one time many years ago during harvest needing a tire, and he stayed open an hour extra for me to get there to pick it up. Things like that are not forgotten. |

Cheapest? probably not. Best reputable place (IMO?) yes. Dad's been buying from them for years; so has my brother, and I've got three front tires for my Cub Cadet from them.

You can get them $2 cheaper on eBay
But I doubt service would be as good. |

In your post you asked "are they the best place" It would appear that they are. Good for you that you didn't ask for the cheapest. Cheapest is rarely the best. I recently purchased two sets with tubes because their listing indicates that tubes are required. Others have went tubeless but I did has suggested and got the tubes.
Consider how many years these thing last and it works out to be fairly inexpensive.

I will agree with everyone, Miller Tire is the BEST place to order from. The last set of V61's I ordered from there were shipped same day and arrived lickety split. They also called to follow up and make sure they did arrive just fine. However, when I ordered my Tru Powers, Amazon was enough lower in price to warrant the purchase. Wasn't sure if that was the case or not with the V61's. Just figured I'd ask as I have no qualm whatsoever about Miller Tire's quality of service

Miller Tire is the best. Bought both sets for the 782 and 1872 from them. Great to work with!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
