Default Dirty Girl Got A Much Needed Bath

Well since I bought a new hustler super Z mower last week I’ve been cleaning it up and decided it was high time to give the old 1863 a little attention. Gave it a bath yesterday and today I pulled the deck out from under it and gave it a bath and put a new belt on it and changed the blades and just gave it a good once over. Also put a new drive belt on the mower and greased everything good and I got to say it cleaned up pretty well. It still has the original rear tires and it’s original paint and plastic but it is starting to show its age.

Not sure why the last three pics are sideways. They're right side up in my library.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
