Land Plane
Well trying my hand at making a 3pt land plane to go behind my 1200. Going to use it for our small gravel driveway and all the landscaping around the new shop. Pretty much just copying bigger ones. Heres some pics.

Well made some progress during class today. Got my scraper bars welded up and holes drilled and bolted in. Ears cut off of my frame rails and ground down and some suppport bars welded in. Turned out to be roughly 44" inside and 48" to outside wide. Was going to go with solid 3pt mount but that limits me to angling the scraper itself if i go down a hill onto flat land. So im thinking im going to go with semi mounting it with hooking the front to my lower arms and putting hydrualic guage wheels on to raise the back up so i have some flex and dont get hung up in the yard or ditch.

Got some more done on it tonight. I think this is the first time im able to post progress on something more than one night in a row.lol Scrapped the wheel idea and went with a hydraulic "top link" on it, simplified things alot. Just tacked it all together tonight so i can burn it in at school tomarrow with the bigger millers. Hopefully will have it operational tomarrow and might get to use it if it ever stops raining here, have had around 10" since last saturday i think.
